Alma College: Nycz Named Scholar All-American by USILA

Alma College issued the following announcement on July 1.

Jared Nycz (Buffalo, N.Y. / Iroquois) continues to add to his trophy case, even after graduating in April. The four-time All-MIAA First-Team member has been named a 2019 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Warrior and New Balance Division III Scholar All-American. He is the first player in the history of Alma College's men's lacrosse program to receive the honor.

Already this offseason, Nycz has been recognized as an All-American honorable mention by the USILA and the Offensive Player of the Year in the MIAA for the second time. He is also the MIAA's all-time leader in points scored in conference games.

No one in Alma College history has more points (311), goals (140), assists (171) than Nycz. As a senior, he broke program records for points (90) and assists (51) in a single season. He is also currently ranked 16th on the all-time Division III assists list.
