Graduates earn 262 degrees from Rochester College


About 21.8 percent of the 262 degrees and certificates handed out by Rochester College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Hills conferred 57 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and teaching. Data shows the school gave out 42 bachelor's degrees in early childhood education and teaching, followed by 29 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 28 bachelor's degrees in mass communication/media studies.

The college enrolled 1,168 students for 2017-18, including 1,153 in undergraduate programs and 15 in graduate programs.
